And spirituality is a very ambiguous term. It means different things to different people. And we mentioned that the Holy Qur'an employs certain expressions when it speaks about spirituality. There are some verses that describe spirituality as Tazkiyat un-Nafs, a purification of the human soul. "Qad aflaha man zakkaha" (91:9).
"Qad aflaha man zakkaha, orang jujur itu bahagia hidupnya. Bahagia itu sederhana, ketika engkau mampu meningkatkan taqwamu," kata Ustaz Adi Hidayat. Ustaz Adi Hidayat lalu menjelaskan bahwa bahwa kebahagiaan berasal dari sifat-sifat tertentu yang hendaknya kita kumpulkan.
